ROBINSON
GENEALOGY
The Robinson family lived in Troy, Bradford County, PA at the time of the
Civil War. Sons, Clinton and Myron were born in Tompkins County, NY and
refer to family living in California, a hamlet in near Dryden, NY. We believe the
father to be related to Lydia Robison, daughter of Ebenezer Robison and
Lydia Van Der Mark. We have letters written by Clinton D. Robinson,
Myron S. Robinson, and Helen Robinson. The letters refer to Harriet Deuel
as cousin.

John Robinson, married Caroline Fox, daughter of early settler John Fox. She died Feb. 22 1882.

Myron Robinson wrote a letter to his cousin, Hattie, dated Troy, PA, Jan. 24, 1863. In it he mentions writing to Helen, Carie and Julia Ett who lives in Illinois. His mother and father are both living. Helen Robinson mentions in a letter that her brother, John, joined a NY Regiment.
