Harriet Deuel Swayze's link to the Northrup Family is in a letter written by her son, Alva Swayze.  He mentions Aunt Savannah Northrop and Uncle Clem.  Clem Northrup, son of Julius Northrup and Mary Sophia Marvin.  Savannah might have been in error or a nickname,  marriage license and census records list wife as Lavina.

October 1999:   We had a great trip to NY.  Kathy brought her laptop and evenings in the motels were spent transcribing letters.  Several were from Adelaide Northup who married Myron Webster.  She mentioned her husband, children, brothers and sisters. She named one of her children after her sister, who died of Scarlet Fever. Index to letters of Addie Northrup Webster.
