EARL WARREN EVENS
76th NY Infantry
Co. F & H
Evens E152 Baker B260 Pysher P260 Smith S530
Earl Evens was a nephew of Harriet Deuel. His mother, Mary Deuel, was Harriet's sister. He had two brothers, Clark and Luke, who served in the Civil War also. There are letters from Earl & Clark but none from Luke. Earl had six siblings. When their father died some of the children went to live with other families and were taught to spell their name Evans. The background letter was written by Earl and can be viewed. Email me direct if you are researching this family. E-mail: Roberta
